Akeman Street Baptist Church continues
We know this is a worrying time for many as we face the coronavirus crisis together as a nation. As Christians, we believe there is genuine hope and peace to be found in Jesus Christ at this challenging time.
We are now holding limited services at Akeman Street. If you would like to attend, please contact our church administrator, Emma Nash at firstname.lastname@example.org. These services will be livestreamed (contact us for access) and recordings will be available via the website. Our church Risk Assessments and summary Covid-19 Secure Service Guidelines can be viewed here
Some of our midweek groups have been able to return to meeting face-to-face, whilst others continue to meet online. We continue to be guided by the latest government guidelines. Please see our calendar or email for information on our groups. Pastoral care also continues to be available throughout the church family.
If you would like to talk, or explore more about the Christian hope, or if you’d like us to pray for you, please contact our church administrator. Emma will be able to put you in touch with the person in the church best able to meet your needs.
We are a family church with people of all ages joining us in our main meetings on Sundays to praise God, listen to the Bible being taught, pray and share fellowship together. We are a Bible-centred church so that God’s voice is heard as the Bible is opened, explained and studied.
Our church vision is: “Aiming to glorify God by calling and equipping people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”
We are a Grace Baptist Church, linked to the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East), Grace Baptist Mission and Affinity.
We seek to proclaim Jesus to our community and believe that personal conversion is demonstrated by believer’s baptism.
