We know this is a worrying time for many as we face the coronavirus crisis together as a nation. As Christians, we believe there is genuine hope and peace to be found in Jesus Christ at this challenging time.
At the present time, we have made the decision to hold our Sunday Services online. If you would like to access our weekly YouTube links, please contact our church administrator, Emma Nash at admin@akemanstreet.org. The sermons will also be available via the website.
Our midweek groups continue to meet online and we are currently considering our plans to re-open in line with government guidelines. Pastoral care also continues to be available throughout the church family.
If you would like to talk, or explore more about the Christian hope, or if you’d like us to pray for you, please contact our church administrator. Emma will be able to put you in touch with the person in the church best able to meet your needs.
We are a family church with people of all ages joining us in our main meetings on Sundays to praise God, listen to the Bible being taught, pray and share fellowship together. We are a Bible-centred church so that God’s voice is heard as the Bible is opened, explained and studied.
Our church vision is: “Aiming to glorify God by calling and equipping people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”
We are a Grace Baptist Church, linked to the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East), Grace Baptist Mission and Affinity.
We seek to proclaim Jesus to our community and believe that personal conversion is demonstrated by believer’s baptism.
Continuing in 2021 we invite you to join with us in reading through the Old Testament in 2 years.
Today's reading is as follows: Job 35
